Matt Frentheway has 10 years of appraisal experience, appraising in three different states (UT, ID, and AZ). He is the owner of Aspen Appraisal Group, Salt Lake Appraisal Group, and holds a license as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Matt obtained a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business from Arizona State University, as well as an associate's degree in Public Safety from UVU. As a Cofounder of United Appraisers of Utah, his vision for the organization is quickly becoming a reality, and has even exceeded the original intent- thanks to the past and present board members' efforts. It is Matt's goal to help unite the appraisal professionals in Utah so that they can have a larger impact on policies, make our voices heard, and bring together what has typically been a fractionated industry. By doing this, it is his hope that the profession can be safeguarded and that all appraisers can experience more increased success together.
Matt and his wife live in Heber City with their 5 boys. In his off time, he likes to ultra-endurance Mountain Bike race, surf behind boats, snowmobile, motorcycle, and help coach his kids' sports teams. He has also volunteered as a Wasatch County Search & Rescue team member and has obtained his Paramedic and Firefighter Certifications.
